Helen is a screen printer whose work crosses over between art and illustration. Taking inspiration from the everyday, she tends to celebrate specific areas with drawings, photographs and collages. Her subtle use of text and image lend itself to beautifully considered prints building up layers of colour. She likes to dig into a place's history and find quirky stories based on fact, hearsay or reputation. She often has her camera to hand and her pen not too far away to record, write and note down moments, memories or stories. She's been lucky enough to collaborate with boutique shops, create work for hotels and public art spaces. Helen enjoys working with private clients to create personalised artworks that lets them celebrate their specific place or moment in time.
